Fan in Stable Condition as St Pauli win

The Hamburg MoPo reports that the 38 year old fan who fell around 8 meters while celebrating St Pauli’s win yesterday is no longer in critical condition. Very good news, as the situation sounded extremely dire when the news first broke. Still, I wish him the best in his recovery.

Fan injured in fall during game

A traveling St Pauli fan was gravely injured after a fall from the terracing during the game today at A. Aachen. The fan fell approximately 20 feet while celebrating one of St Pauli’s goals.
I’ll reserve further reports for later, when the situation becomes more clear. Until then, my thoughts are with the injured fan.
